Food in Boston

Residents of Dudley, Upham’s Corner, and Jamaica Plain have a chance to get cheap-to-free materials and assistance towards their own raised bed gardens, thanks to a new Food Project initiative. The application process is only open for two more weeks, so hop to it! This looks like a great opportunity for people new to gardening to be eased into a productive setup.

You can now register for the Food Project’s Farming the City 2007 conference, coming up this April. Looks pretty interesting - Sandor Ellix Katz is giving one of the keynotes, there are a couple tours on Friday, and then five (5!) tracks on Saturday.
